checkVariable: this is a DALiM supplied TCL procedure which checks to see if a Variable in the TWiST table matches a set value. it is called through a programed link. the procedure has the following syntax: [checkvariable VariableCategory VariableName ValueToBeMatched] for example if i have a Variable in the TwistTable under the category of Document, variable name of Format and a value of EPS i can set up a programmed link to check to see that value and if it matches what i expect then to go down this fork in the TWiST workflow, for example: [checkvariable Document Format EPS] will send all files that have the value of "EPS" for the Variable Format, in the Category of Document, another link, programed or default should be created to handle files that do not have a value of "EPS" | |
